Proven Techniques For Business Growth

After starting and building six successful businesses in five different industries, 25 years of successful entrepreneurship, and teaching thousands of small business owners and freelancers how to grow their businesses faster and more than they ever imagined, here are my top 6 strategies for growing your business.

Some may apply to your situation, others may not, but applying any one of these strategies will certainly result in business growth.

1. Never settle for what works now.

Always look for ways to improve your existing products or services, or others will do it for you...

2. The 'easiest' sale ever.

You have invested money, time, and effort in acquiring your customers and building a relationship with them. Find out what else you can offer your customers.

3. Know where to get all the answers.

ALL the answers about how your business is doing, which direction to take, and what to stop doing, exist within your own customer base. Just ask!

4. Go online!

Create an effective way, via the Internet, to inform your customers, update them, solve their problems, and offer your products and services.

5. Measurement is knowledge.

What you do in your business can only improve if you have described, measured, traced, and evaluated the effectiveness of your actions from time to time.

6. Know when to say 'No' and 'Stop'!

Put an end to producing or doing what is no longer financially responsible. "We've always produced it this way" or "We've been selling this for years" or "That's how we've always done it" are not good reasons to do something.

There is always a price to pay for business growth. The growth process is characterized by many mistakes, unexpected surprises, opportunities to learn new things, and new opportunities for future growth.

Hopefully, these strategies for business growth will give you new and creative ideas for growing your business faster and easier.
